he much revered Icon of Our Lady of
Częstochowa (The Black Madonna) has been
credited with numerous miracles and healings –
both of a spiritual and physical nature. Now, after
traveling 40,000 miles from Vladivostok in Russia through 24 countries in Europe, she is in North America and will be visiting Ottawa on her global Pilgrimage in the defence of life and family.
Please join us as we welcome Our Lady and ask for her guidance and protection for Canada as the Icon visits the following locations:

Tuesday, March 18

Celebrated by Archbishop Terrence Prendergast and concelebrated by Father Peter West, custodian of the Icon.

Rosary and confessions from 6:30 pm.

Wednesday, March 19

Feast of St. Joseph, Patron Saint of Canada

6:15 am to 7:00 am - Centennial Flame on Parliament Hill.
Conclusion of the annual St. Joseph Novena, which starts March 10 and takes place every morning at 6:15 am.

7:15 am to 8:30 am - Prayer Vigil across the street from Ottawa's abortion facility at 65 Bank St.

10:00 am to 1:00 pm - Notre Dame Cathedral
